How do you think the press would have acted if bush left the country during katrina?

i know that obama had no ideal that all hell was going to brake loose after he left for his tripe . but it seem that he could alease act like he cares . and cut his tripe short . and what i really don't understand is why is the MSM not reporting this like they would have if bush had left the country during katrina . the press would be all over that . and would not let bush live it down .
