Blood donation for transmen/women?

FDA guidelines require the donor's genetic sex to be used to determine eligibility concerning risk activity. As such, a transgendered female is considered to be genetically male. Under current regulations, any MSM contact would require indefinite deferral as a volunteer blood donor.
